Meet the CLDer: 11 Questions to Emma

Here at CLD we want you to know who we are, so without further ado, meet our team of doers, dreamers, believers and innovators! This week we are featuring Head of Digital, Emma. Emma’s been part of the CLD family for almost a year now (she says it feels more like 10). Day-to-day, you’ll find her devising and delivering marketing strategies to keep the leads rolling in for clients. 

Name: Emma Hilton

Speciality: Digital Marketing with a side of copywriting, a splash of SEO and a dash of social.

Favourite saying: ‘In real life’ – Although apparently that’s now the name of a boy band who won a reality show so I’m going to have to find a new catchphrase.

Favourite film: Howl’s Moving Castle and all of the Harry Potters.

The book I recently read: Recently finished Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It is so excellent.

Favourite food: Gin and Tonic … that counts, right? Also, quite partial to anything garlicky, anything with loads of olive oil, anything with anchovies. So basically Italian. Oh, and sushi.

Favourite record: Bon Iver: For Emma, Forever Ago (Genuinely not related to the album title).

Favourite thing about CLD: We’re full-service, so it’s really good fun to be able to work with all of the different teams we have in house to see projects through from beginning to end.

Favourite marketing campaign: Ikea’s marketing is just so darned good. There are too many good examples to list, but I’m a big fan of all the reactional marketing they do.
