For us, SEO is the stage on which content performs. It may not have the noise or the glamour of content, but without the stage, there’s no music. SEO ensures your website is indexed to its full potential, that your backlinks are healthy not harmful, and that your content is seen, not hidden.

Our technical approach
We take a process-led approach to analysing the technical performance of a website. Our “SEO MOT” gives you an instant snapshot of what’s working and what’s not.
We also do in-depth SEO audits which give you the full picture, producing an actionable list of items for developers to implement to your site. This ensures that your website is working to its full potential. We see site ‘hygiene’ as a ranking factor – the fewer problems you have, the easier it is for Google to crawl your site and index it correctly.
We then monitor every page and every keyword, and make iterative changes to your site which have an influence on the position of your target keywords.
Our off-page approach
There are over 200 ranking factors – many of them are “on-page”, i.e. related to your site, but many are “off-page”, i.e. what other sites are saying about you.
This takes the form of backlinks, and we have been building safe backlinks since the early days of Google. None of our sites have ever been penalised, but we have rescued clients who have come to us with a Google penalty. Those sites have recovered from their penalty, and we work with them to further build their online presence.
There are many ways to build links – and we’re always learning about new ways to promote your website through link-building.
Research and analysis
We’re always on top of what Google is doing, but we’re also on top of how your site is doing. We monitor rankings, and benchmark your ranking movements against a wider data set.
It’s important to carry out regular analysis of what’s working on your site. The Google Panda updates, for instance, focus on how users engage with your site. Pages that people don’t like can be downgraded, potentially resulting in the whole site being downgraded.
We provide regular, insightful reports into how your SEO campaigns are progressing.
