Infographics, competitions and PR to raise brand awareness and build online authority
Fulton Leasing provides both personal and business car leasing. They’re part of a group of leasing and finance companies and approached CLD to build a creative link-building strategy.
We wanted to create content that we could use for outreach to major motoring websites and blogs, as well as the national press. We were aiming for 3 to 5 links with a high domain authority (40+) each month.

Our digital team worked with Fulton to propose campaign topics that coincided either with offers or major events in the automotive calendar, such as the 50th anniversary of the Ford Transit van. They would then work with the design team to create viral-worthy content assets.
For instance, to promote the Fiat 500, we created a ‘Find the Fiat’ competition that we then used for outreach, resulting in several high-value links.
We obtained over 100 links for Fulton Leasing in the space of 12 months, including links from MarketWatch, Fleet News, The Movie Blog, and many others. This contributed to a more than doubling of organic traffic over the 12-month period.
